Recently me and my friend David went snowboarding. When we first entered the ski-field we had absolutely no intentions of going snowboarding, we hadn't even thought about we were supposed to be going on a "ski trip". Of course at the very end we decided why not and went for it despite neither of us having any previous experience, we weren't taking lessons either so we went over to the course without the slightest clue on how to slow down or avoid crashing. We were both having second thoughts about choosing to use snowboards when at about the tenth run neither of us had manged to get down the hill without falling.

My approach to it was that if i just hurled down the slope then at least I'd only crash once whereas David chose to try to go slow and get down the the hill properly. In the long run this helped him because eventually he could get down the hill without face-planting at the bottom it took me a little longer to get there.
We then decided to attempt a more difficult slope. Unfortunately for us it was not nearly as easy as we had anticipated I'd say due to our 2 attempts on that course we both ended up sore in the morning. With only about an hour remaining at the slopes we decided to try to have maximum entertainment on the little slope so we built a small ramp. It made the course more difficult and more fun after hitting a few jumps we had to pack our bags and depart the beautiful scenery.
